The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) mission is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since 1949, LLS has been on the forefront of blood cancer advances such as chemotherapies and stem cell transplantation leading the way to the targeted therapies and immunotherapies that are saving thousands of lives today.
The Internship- Interns will work closely with the chapter staff to develop a work plan that will benefit the campaign, and best utilize their knowledge and skills. Interns will help manage, but are not limited to the following tasks:
Qualifications, Hours and Compensation- Interns should be college students studying communications, marketing, public relations, non-profit management or a related field. Social Work and Human Services students will be accepted if they have an interest or knowledge in fundraising and marketing communications.
